The guild celebrates the legacy of African American quilting by sharing experiences, educating others through demonstrations and workshops, and transforming traditional quilting ideas by incorporating ethnic patterns and fabrics. The guild has members with varying skill levels, from beginners to master artists, specializing in African American, traditional, and modern quilting techniques. These skills are shared through monthly meetings, workshops, challenges, philanthropy projects, and quilt exhibits. The commitment to passing down the tradition and expanding the art form is evident in the guild's diverse and vibrant activities.
